Couple of questions i forgot to ask you;

Did they scrub at all when you had them on your car when it was lowered? and what tyre pressures did you use?

Car's definitely lacking something thought, whether it be lowering, a body-kit or a combination of the two I'm not sure??

I was thinking about putting the side skirts off a 9n3 GTI on, what do you think?

Any other suggestions?

Also, how much do you think I would get for my old wheels + tyres, there's plenty of tread left on the them and the rims only have a few minor scuffs.

might be worth keeping the old ones for when you sell the car....

Hi mate pressures i stuck to about 34 psi all round

no they never scrubbed when lowered as they are vw fitment wheels for the polo, so they are right

im running a 50mm ish drop all round, bear in mind also my car standard was 15 mm lower than yours due to the sport suspension pack on the gti

to give you an idea, my coilovers are wound down as far as they go on the rear, absolutely wont budge any lower and the fronts are about 5 mm lower to give the front leaning stance

what are the exact dimensions of the exors on the polo? width, offset and so on?

Found out that the Polo Dune also has 215/40/R17 tyres and the recommended pressures for those are 34psi on the front and 31psi on the back. It's also the same weight apparently so, that's what I've put them as.

I have the sports suspension too, so I assume it's the same 15mm lower than standard as yours was to start with.

How did you find the ride quality with the combination of the exors and eibach coilovers? Was it still quite harsh over bumps etc.?

lol, thanks mate, but I think i'll keep em! A set usually appears on the bay now and then, will just have to keep checking, apart from that, there is always VW, think they're around £30??

Have you got some sort of mod in mind for them??

yeh, i was thinking about tinting them pretty dark,

obviously not leaving them on at night though!!!

i hear they're easy to take off and put back on.?

may get annoying, but i think that it would look pretty sweet with the front lights tinted like my rear lights!

im guessing that aslong as i dont have them on when i should have my lights on, then i wont get stopped for them, coz it essentially becomes pop-up headlights then, doesnt it?
