Emmisions Light

:cry: my car isn't well. Emmisions light is on and flashing and the poor lil things is chugging AND it sounds like an old beetle! Has anyone had ANY experience/problems with the same things, mine is a 1.2 but anyone with any similar experience?? And anything i should particularly say/do when i take it in monday?

Sounds like an ignition coil gone. Take it to the dealers ASAP.

(should be okay to drive it there, will just drink loads of fuel)

this shouldn't cost me anything should it? Worth saying anything about creaky suspension yet or shall i leave that for now?

Yep, it'll be replaced FOC under warranty.

Suspension kits won't be availiable till early 04 so I wouldn't bother :)

:lol: yes and keep saying must get other cover etc etc etc and we haven't, luckily it was my mum driving it today and i was passenger so it'd be ok because she's got AA cover but i'm buggered otherwise! :?

:D Top marks to you Nelson, was indeed the ignition coil!! Replaced under warrenty. Took the care at 8 this morning, was told they were fully booked and mine probably wouldn't be seen till saturday, wasn't too bothered and then at 10 got a phone call saying my car was ready to pick up!! :D thought that was pretty good service!

Beadles in Dartford, only knew of the Whitehouse in Blackfen and that Renault now! Previously hadn't been pleased with Beadles but they have redeemed themselves! :)

On another note, is someone able to find out 'on the web' if the ignition coils are the same for AWY and AZQ engine codes?
