i must say so far im very impressed with them.
having had lowering springs, standard suspension and now coilovers, and i can feel the differences in all.
standard shocks and springs off usual comfortable ride. very rocky body and fast cornering is just not possible
lowering springs seems to be fairly bouncy yet do still give some body roll when cornering quick and this gives the sensation that the car is going to tip over even though it isnt
as for coilovers. i've had these on since the weekend and im yet to really give them a thrashing, but i've had abit of play on large and small roundabouts when the rain has dried up. you still get the same bouncy feeling as springs, quite alot more often. as for body roll, this seems to have gone and the car on the whole seems alot more stiffer and you generally feel safer.
on larger roundabouts i back off as i dont trust the tyres and on the smaller roundabouts the car is on rails and will turn sharply while holding its speed
all in all lowering springs for the price are a very good route to take if you're just after a good look and theyre not long term as im not sure on the long term effects on the standard shocks
the coilovers are certainly well worth the money as they offer a very good stable handling car while giving a low look.
i'll get some pictures up when we get some good weather and its worth taking some!
