hi all im looking for new air filter/ induction kit (which one?) and im looking at the BMC's

anyone got any links to any sites selling them? and also when it comes to fitment, will i have to take the engine cover off and make my own cold air feed? easy to fit?

You should be able to fit it yourself, you would have to take the engine cover off but I believe it won't fit with the engine cover without some modifications to the cover. The cold air feed should be supplier.

For reference you can re-fit the main part of the engine cover over the BMC.

Okay it does fit then, haha. Sorry for my lack of knowledge. I think it looks better without though.

Be a little different - go for a K and N apollo with a cold air feed under the engine - great noise and the car revs much much better. Should also get about 4-5 bhp more on a good day!!!!

The K&N Apollo is meant to be VERY good! Slightly sheaper than the BMC aswell! The apollo and BMC have usually always appear in the top 3 i'v noticed.

BMC also make a non carbon induction system; The DIA kit which is a fair bit cheaper than the CDA and would be the equivalent of the K&N apollo. If you like i can look into exact pricing for one of those as a kit?

dont no how you lot can afford to spend £156 on a induction kit!!!!! lol

Mine cost £7.50 from a scrappy haha then I spent bout £60 on all the parts for it, but couldve just gone with it as it was And yes, its a genuine practically new BMC CDA!!!
