on the new GTi, you get a compressor and seleant, any ideas how to use it, i understand that you remove the valve on your broken tyre sqeeze the seleant in and then blow the tyre up but how do you remove the valve?
if anyone has a site or pictures on doing this please link.

Here's a completely random idea. . . .
Read the owners manual . . . .

In the instructions Book 3.2 Page 76 It talks about screwing the the valve insert into the tyre valve using the valve insert extractor.
I would suggest that you use the
valve insert extractor (item 1 on Fig 28 ) to remove it in the first place
Hope that helps
I asked about spare tyre when I was ordering mine and Salesman thought it would be quite expensive to fit.... but when I picked it up. Under the carpet mat was a spare tyre. Result!! Salesman just looked blankly. So doubly bit of result

i think it is to save weight more than money tbh, becuase the compressor and tyre seleant costs about £130 from dealer
