anybody got any idea how you get the pedal box out to weld the clutch cable bracket i think its a mark 6

I think that you mean a MK5 ie 6N - MK6 is 9N and has a hydraulic clutch.

My daughter has an early 2002 Ibiza and I reckon her one should go bang soon - I've already lubricated the cable - but the clutch/cable is really heavy!
