Have seen a K reg CL catalyst for £495 and in good condition, door seals and arches rust free, only downer is is it's done 113k, is it most likely that the head gaskets been replaced? because if it has i'm having it

Well it seems my dad sneakily overshot my budget and got me and R reg 1.4 CL for £950, he's now bricking it however because the engine isn't firring on all cylinders at 63000, suffice to say i fear he's bought a lemon
