I don't know if you could only replace the brushes.
I can't help you with finding the right one. I can only tell what to watch out for.
Once a garage replaced the alternator with a slightly different one. When I tried to replace the alternator belt, I could do this only by unscrewing the alternator and fitting the belt with the alternator case holding in the other hand.
The belt that was fitted before was an inch longer than the right one and couldn't be tensioned properly.

i put a 65amp one on mine and did wonders for the running, the engine just seemed to be happy if you know what i mean
