I don't know if you could only replace the brushes.

I can't help you with finding the right one. I can only tell what to watch out for. 8)

Once a garage replaced the alternator with a slightly different one. When I tried to replace the alternator belt, I could do this only by unscrewing the alternator and fitting the belt with the alternator case holding in the other hand. :lol:

The belt that was fitted before was an inch longer than the right one and couldn't be tensioned properly.

i put a 65amp one on mine and did wonders for the running, the engine just seemed to be happy if you know what i mean :D
