Halfrauds should have a plug and play adaptor for £10-15.

YUP an ISO lead or block is what you want. Should do the trick. Iv never wired my H/U to the battery.

Had the wiring harness from ebay on the weekend and just fitted it. It costs £3.50 delivered (bargain) and anyone buying a pioneer stereo all you need to do is swap the red and yellow wires around on the plug when it comes (these are the constant live and ignition live) so you dont loose your radio stations when you turn it off.

Really really easy to do as if you look at the plug you just bought you will see that they have a little spring loaded clip on the pin to keep it in the plug. Just push it in with a small screwdriver (dart works perfectly) and it will slide out the back of the plug easily. Swap them around and job done without even cutting a single wire.

Below is the description and item number of one.
Item number: 130138943911
ISO to pioneer wiring harness. All wires labelled.
23mm x 10mm
Suitable for
Pioneer (16 pin)
models from 2003

Hope this is useful to someone :D
