Quite a few in that link. Best to stick with the own brand stuff or could the Pipercross/K&N/Green be any better?

The BMC own cleaning kit is very very good. Cleaned all the filth out of mine - worked so much better afterwards. Takes it back to as new condition if you do it as it says on the cleaning bottle.
Cheers!

So how do you go about cleaning the filter ? Do you have to take it apart ? because the actual filter is enclosed in that casing isn't it ?

Just bought this:

K&N stuff is about £1.50 cheaper but you don't get as much cleaner or oil. Halfrauds were selling the Pipercross pack with only the 75ml bottles for £11.99!

IMO its best to use the own brand stuff as they have different grades of oil designed to work best with their cotton weave....
