i did this a few weeks ago but been bit lazy and havent put it on here yet! well basically i put a new headunit in, new front speakers and tweeters and put in a separate amp (which i couldnt find a place for so i screwed on back of sub box) and my sub of course.
i re trimmed the box, sanded down the amp and gave 2 coats of clearcoat as it was flaking before, thats about it really, hardest part of it was the wiring!
sounds great now, what you guys think? the picture of the boot isn't to good as can hardly see the sub, but you get the idea.

Looking good mate, although I'd secure the box down with something other than Velcro :D

looks cool mate as said above best secure the box with something other than velcro, i used to work for a car audio shop and i know what a nightmare it is to get the power cable through the bulk head, anyways it looks smart i like.

good work, when i put my whole new system in it was an absolute nightmare!! wasn't used to striping such a new car (as in my old car and all of my mates cars which ive helped out on have been around the 95-97 mark, so reasonably easier to take apart, put bak together hide wires etc..), i had alot of problems with it too, so took it to a specialist n he sorted it right out. I'll post some pics soon

My sub in my golf was never helf down...the weight of the box kept it there...and it was only a 10" sub

Velco should be fine tbh unless you joy ride your car
