dampness behind passenger side seat?

Post by poloking »

Hi all, I've just brought a Polo GTi and I'm finding dampness behind the passenger side seat when it rains. Why is this? The rubber seal around the door seems fine. The car has been modified a bit with the rear wiper being removed. Don't know if that has anything to do with it?

Thanks

Well the passenger side door does need to be slammed in order to shut properly. Maybe that has something to do with it? Plus the sill is slightly rusty.

have you got a 5 or 3 door? i get that with mine, (mines a 5 door), but it was just a case of pulling off the door seal and re-placing it
