Front Fogs

Im thinking about getting some front fogs.
Reason is.... I was supposed to be ordering a bodykit tomorrow and if I am going to want to fit some front fogs I would need to do it now, and specify this when ordering. Was going to keep the kit a surprise tho

Has anyone without them got a price for them from VW? Silly money I expect!!
Is the wiring there, anybody looked?
What else would I need to order.

Cheers

usually the wireing will be there between the switch and the engine bay and if you buy a kit from hella then there is all the wire to tap into the existing wires so it looks neet
and id get them from gsf and dont forget youll need a newswitch so that you can turn in the sidelights and pull in the swich oncs for front fogs and then turn on the headlights and pull gain for rear fog

Ok well.....

No wiring for the fogs there I've been told by a few people, and just had a look. Can't see any directly behind the grilles where the fogs would go.

VW are asking £57 for the headlight switch!
They also want "proably about a couple of hundred quid for a new wiring loom if there aint fog wiring there, I aint sure really" - nice and helpful, thankyou!

I think I will wire them in myself thanks very much though.

sorry to burst all the bubles but its illegal to put a more modern plate on a car i.e. you get a preg polo and you want the plate r 10 ver (just an example im ill flease feel simpathy:P) its illegal cos its classed as trying to decive someone into thinking a car is newer than it is so if you have an 02 then you can never get an 03 plate but at least you ghet more choise :P
