Hi guys, about to purchase either a 60/40 kit or more likely a coilover kit for £200.
Can you guys help out by sticking up some photos of your 6n2's, ideally on 15's with info on width of wheels, tyre size and whether they rubbed, also what kit you have and is it any good??? any help would be appreciated!

Those photos were taken after I spent 12 hours over 2 days cleaning/claying/polishing/sealing etc lol. No rubbing at all, ever so slightly on full lock.

Spax shocks, and supersport 60/60 springs. (i thought it looked more like a 60/50 till I saw mouses rear gap there)
G60 steels, no rubbing, no problems, and much more comfortable than coilovers.

Answered in the MKV section as well.
KW Variant 1 Coilovers, not sure how low it is (I asked for 50mm but a few people have told me it looks lower) Standard 15" GTi wheels on 195/45/15's
Kit quality and ride is real nice, rubs occasionally when cornering fast or hit a dip in the road, even caught my splitter at a junction the other day due to the road being uneven (there goes some more paint)
Hit a dead rabbit as well a few weeks back as well after straddling it so I wouldn't hit it

Mine:
Somewhere around 50-55mm down on FK Konigsport Silverline X coilovers with 6.5Jx15 ET33 BBS RMs.
The back used to about 10-12mm lower but scrubbed when passengers were in the back, and looked a bit odd as the rear of the car had no arch gap and the front of the car was as it is now.
No scrubbing other than the odd contact on front if pushing on
really hard around a roundabout or a tight corner for example.

si, looking sweet, you have the same rims as me, mine are RM 012's et33, what i don't understand is how others can go much lower? I assume I will be looking at the same drop as yours...maybe less as I have extended lips..so the fronts are 7" & the backs are 7.5"

My car lowered on standard rims:
And on the Borbets, 15x7 ET 25
Lowered 60/60 on unbranded shocks and springs from Germany bought from MaxZ when he was breaking his old car. Ride is good, had to have arches rolled because the wheels have quite a low ET but it doesn't scrub now except on v fast corners.
