Mine came on today and wouldn't go out. Tried giving them a go but they didn't work. When I got back into my car later the light was off :?

I suppose it's nothing to worry about as my brakes are as good as a trains normally!

Mine does it too sometimes, I'm sure I have a faulty sensor. Just be aware that when the ABS light is on, your ABS won't work.

My ABS light came on and went off a few times, got it checked when it came back on (not by VW) and found out I apparently need a new ABS control unit.

Retrim is taking priority though.

i get this time to time, so when it does i pull over, stop and start it and it goes off!! is it a common known fault then?

Must be. Well that's the first time in 1 year/10k miles of ownership that I've seen it stay on

There's something about a loose connector under the back seat that connects the ABS sensor up or something. I've read it on the forum before somewhere, I think it's common for it to become loose.

Correct. They can sometimes come loose and cause the warning light to come on. Worth checking if you've had people in the back recently.

Ahhhh, well I didn't have the passenger side rear seat folded down to put my new bumper in the back for dropping off. That might of been it
