My coilies have arrived from jackson tuning off club polo! quick delivery time! i'm well impressed! I went to the garage today though and the guy was saying that I probably can't go that low as the front springs are so wide? and will rub on my tyres? i'm hoping this isnt the case as I have 7" RM's on the front!

does anyone else have the same kit? and how low you gone?

arite sweet, so the standard BBS rims wouldn't be affected by the rubbing on the wheel problem that you may encounter? are they from jackson tuning?

yeah they are, unlikely to cause any rubbing problems on the RXII's as they are very thin, lets hope i dont get any problems either tho lol

I reckon you'll be alright on the rubbing front. I have 7's on the front and I've never had rubbing while 60mm on the front. I'm pretty sure the tyres won't rub on the spring as well; I've seen people go lowwww on these kits.

I'd also like to know how you get on with them as well; I've been thinking of getting a set for my Scirocco.

love your wheels and they look even better in the flesh.
been tempted by these coilovers but I'm worried about it affecting the ride comfort plus I'm not that worried about the ride height but would love to just throw my polo round corners lol

they are the same as the jamex kit im running, im sitting 60mm and not a problem i was abit worried that the ride would be crap as it was a cheap kit but ive been running them for coming up a year and they are brilliant, ride is stiff but too much and i was impressed for the price i paid. :D + they came with a 3yr warranty :D :D

it not very practical in west london loads of speed bumps  i did take it to 70mm when i first dropped it but found my self grounded on a speed bump on the test drive :(

heh :) so it wasnt due to scrubbing then? good to hear! :)

nah i never had no scrubbin i think that 60mm gives the polo a mean stance and still being practical for eveyday use under careful driving you'll find out once its done
