I have been looking at members rides and have trawled through the pictures of the Polo Gti Photogallery and have noticed that many people have got different wheels and a variety but no-one has white ones?
When I eventually get my Gti I was planning on gettin white OZ Super Turismos. These wouldnt suit a silver one i know but Black and red definately i think! What does everyone else think?
Any photoshop experts want to have a go at trying it out?

i got some 16" rx's in white, stuck them on my black gti & they looked amazing!! unfortunately they were a vauxhaull offset so rubbed against the brakes..do it mate, alpine white on black looks awesome!
I'm half tempted to get my centers on the RM's done in white but i'm not so sure that will work

My thoughts are, they would be a b*tch to keep clean
I've seen a Lupo GTi with white Bathursts on it, that looked great. IMHO it would be better suited to a red car rather than a white one...
Cheers

I've thought for a long time that a red GTi on 16" OZ Superturismo WRC's in white would look smart with a nice degree of lowering.
Might not be particulary "euro" but I like the idea.

Ive seen a red Golf with 19" versions of the same... really suited it, but kerbing looks SERIOUSLY nasty on white wheels!
My choice would be Silver polished lip and White centres... not an easy combo to come by off the shelf though.
My next set of wheels are going to have a really offensive colour for the centre and nuts to anyone who doesnt like them, life's too short to follow some archaic rulebook about what you are and arent allowed to put on your car. (I just started a thread earlier over on wheelwhores.com about how im buying JDM rims for my GTi, cant wait... bright red or bling gold centres

)

whats your next car going to be??? it's funny you should say that, i'm thinking about respraying my polo white (the same colour as the golf mk5 gti). Reckon it would look the nuts
but thats lots of ££££ and a long way off

That would look the absolute sh*t!!! White with canyon red interior and the centres of your RM's sprayed canyon red to match....

i was thinking all polished RM's, centers as well, so silver on white. The black grills on the front would look fantastic against an all white car as well
imagine the xenons as well....ahh lush!! my paint work is f****d so it'd defo a consideration next year around this time, I assume i'd be looking at 2500 for a proper job?

I used to have white wheels on my old polo...
Sorry for picture overload, but you can see it on non-smooth car as well
