Fitting a spoiler help??

anybody fitted a rear spoiler to there mk5 themselves if so what did you use and how easy was it pics would be great also!!

does the spoiler have the bolts attached? (i.e a brand new spoiler) or does it have the bolts missing (ripped off/second hand?)

erm.........pass. im sure someone on here must of fitted one and can tell you how to do it. if i was you id just take it vw and pay somone to fit so if they get it slightly off line u can kick off and get it sorted foc???

there are magnets in the spoiler to hold it place.

my spoiler is bolted on but we had to drill holes into the bootlid! 
... most spoilers on a hatchback car are just bondered on, and will have no problems, just get it straight!

No bolts just bonded
Theres a nice instruction guide with it (which I have) Want a PDF copy made up?
Very easy to fit, just have to sand the paint down bond it with special glue and tape it down and leave it for 24hrs to set then all is done

The original Spoiler that carries the part number: 6N0 827 933 D
fits directly on Boot lid that carries the part number: 6N0 827 025 AF
This boot lid is fitted only in GTI models. For non GTI models you have to drill the boot lid. i did this before but i don't recommend this as the aerodynamic differs and this will make the car unstable on high speeds.

Part numbers above are for the GTI spoiler and the one that bolts into the chassis.

i dont know if the one im looking at is the vw add on one but i think its very similar
