Got my car booked in at the main stealers for a service, brake fluid change and aircon re-gas............£313.15

I know its not the most pricey bill thats ever been posted but its ruined my month all the same!

holy s**t!

i had mine serviced recently at an idependant garage and it cost me just shy of 100 quid and i had oil flush, oil change, oil filter, fresh coolant, fresh brake fluid, fresh gearbox oil, new air filter, new plugs, all my hinges greased and a 50 spot car check.

i'd never in a million years pay that sort of money even if it looks good in the car history that its been done at vw

Thats a cracking price, how the garage managed to do all that for that price is good going the parts and fluid alone even at trade would not be far off £80 and at least a hour or 2 work there. The garage could not have made a lot on that service.

i have to admit that it was mates rates but still the full price isnt much more than that.
