Your tales of bad luck...

Anybody have any tales of extreme bad luck?
When I was 14 I had a load of bad luck involving injuries all in the same week!
In PE we were playing football, me and another lad went to head the ball at the same time, I got the ball and he got my nose.
My nose was folded across my face and after the operation I had my face strapped up from which I gained the nickname 'Big Bird'.
Because I refused to go into school with the strapping on my face I had some time off and as it was sunny I was sunbathing in the back garden.
You know whats coming next... Serious burns all over as I fell asleep!
While I was off school my cousin decided I could help him in the garden, while taking down a wall we did a 'to me' 'to you' chuckle brothers scene as we were throwing the bricks, him to me to the scip, yep that was a great scar down my serious burn when the brick hit me in the stomach.
Finally we carried on in the garden and we were digging a hole for a concrete post, in a bit of a rush we sort of had a sequence 'my spade in, as my spade came out his spade went in, as his spade came out my spade went in.....' anyway my spade got stuck and his spade went in and took the tip of my finger off.
Needless to say I spent the rest of my time off in bed doing nothing!
I have a picture somewhere of me looking very pink with a scar down my stomach, strapping on my face and my finger bandaged up. If I find it I will post it up!

thats hilarious mate,

shouldn't laugh!!
mines not that bad but, 3 years ago i had a metro and it was full of people so i managed to go home and ask my dad if i could borrow his fiat tipo

we all got i n and was going fine un till the thin tyres gave way on a sharp corner sent me sideways, the back went into the grass where the back tyre popped, dug in to the road and flipped me.
i can remember in slow motion going over then when my seat scwashed me against the sunroof i passed out, i woke up when the car slammed to the ground on the opposite side of the road,
i pushed the door open as it was squashed and checked if every one was ok, they all got out apart from my mate who was passed out, so i shook him and he woke up, by that time my head was gushing out blood any i sat down for the ambulance,
a couple of days later i went to look at the car,
the window screen had popped out,
engine had dropped down with the force,
drivers seat had ripped out,
the car was a cone shape,
luckily i was wearing a seat belt as i always do. if i hadn't of been wearing one i wouldn't be here today,
then when i had a produser i wasn't insured so i had to take my test again!!!!! now i've got loads of insurence to pay, so i have to run a 1 litre

ok what you think to this

Hows this...
My previous fabia was a 1.4 16v elegance on a 51 plate, which i had for two days before someone went into the side of me on the M2. The car needed a new front drivers door, a rear alloy and a respray. When the car got back to the dealers they had to destroy the interior door trim because they could not get out and the repair job went back twice due to crap paintwork and dents still present. Also the replacement door was bent at the top left corner and went back for adjustment and in June some of the paint flaked away showing some surface rust and it went back yet again for respraying.
The second one happened in august, where i was driving down the road and a motor bike coming the other way lost control and headed towards me at 70mph. I managed to swerve out of the way before he hit me, but just as we passed he hit a wooden telephone pylon, then a parked vw beetle. The bike ended up against a wall the helmet had come off and ended up in a garden and the rider, who was wearing shorts and a polo shirt ended up demolishing a wall and lying in a heap. Debris from the first part hit the passenger side of the car and denting it.
I had to pay for the repair myself as the rider was not insured and the cost of cash in hand was the same as my excess. When the car came back that time, my dealer had it's only Fabia vRS on show as it was launch day and when i saw that the car would have to go back again due to dirt in the paint and a few blemishes, I thought enough was enough and brought the vRS the next day. This has been much luckier for me on the whole and i'm glad that i brought it when i did instead of when i planned to in april

lets just say i was the first to get there and I found out the next day that i went to school with him although we diddn't get on, and his girlfriend was pregnant. I still think about it 4 months later as i have to go past the spot almost every day.
His body was in a state as was his head with bits of body fat and brain going along the row of houses he hit before he landed. There was a big blood stain along a house wall where his head hit, and it also broke a window.
The car i had at the time is for sale at the dealers i got the vRS from if you want it!!!

My lucks not too bad but i have a couple of rather nasty memories, first one is when i was 16 i BMX'd (more than a healthy amount). Anyway me and a couple of mates found a large set of steps about 20ish ft and had 32 steps, we had the video camera and i decided to jump them, didn't really have a huge run up or landing so went for them diagonally. I pedalled hard as i could up to them jump and cleared them with my front wheel hitting the curb on the other side of the road, threw me over the bars and put my head through a wooden fence breaking a 2" thick panel!! So it does pay to wear a helmet

other one is getting my car smashed up

but the lad who did it's in jail now for a 18months. Hope he has a soap on a rope the little pr*ck

Mine was spending a £1000 on sub new AudioBahn subs and amps for them to be nicked out of the car a week later.
Not too bad cause the insurance paid out for £3000s worth
