H&R Springs

Hey people. I bought some H&R springs from here
http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/framef ... de=H-29454
Can anyone who has these springs fitted confirm I have the correct ones?
I took them to a local garage to have them fitted and the rear springs fit fine. However the front ones don't due to the width of the top of the spring being the wrong size to fit in the suspension top mount.
The garage has spoken to MotorSportWorld who are as confused as myself. They are now looking at their stock to see if Polo 16V springs will fit instead?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 40mm springs I had before the 60's were the same, mechanic heated the top and forced it around the top mount... went on fine, ran for miles no problem.

Well i got mine off ollie and they are a 35mm drop for a 6n2 polo. This bit on the site puzzles me: Polo Mk4 GTi 16v 98> -35mm ?
Can you get a pic of the fronts i should be able to tell you then!

Unfortunately the springs are still at the garage. I'm basically driving with a lowered rear at the moment
Although it does feel nice and firmer in the corners.......

yeh def mark 5. But i think some people refer to them as mark 4s, Fast Car does and it really annoys me! so maybe they've made some sort of mistake?

Well technically it's only a facelifted MK3 according to VW... but plenty of people refer to it as the MK4 Facelift. If they just called it a 6N2 when theyre selling parts for it, then thered be no confusion!

The guys at MotorSportWorld were still trying to get an answer from H&R today about the springs. In the end I have simply asked for a full refund. Ordered some Eibach Pro Springs instead!
