SAT NAVS

just got a sat nav and the reception is mince so got myself a 5m external aerial......

question is whats the best route ( and easiest ) to the roof from the dash?

have you tried routing it to the back and going up into the roofing via one of the rear pillars? you can pull back the roof lining and expose the aerial base there

Hmm i could wind the window down and sit it on the roof ( It has a magnetic base ) like the old cop cars.......

I'd love to hide the cable and stick it up beside my aerial... Others have said its still ok to stick it to your back window..

I'll try your way tim....is removing the headlining that easy???

yeh it really is, heres to a DIY guide. It's for replacing the aerial base seal but it clearly shows you how to remove the roof lining.
