It is about time I had a change!!
Black POLO gti 2000 W reg
62000 miles
1 owner from new
Full VW service history
Keskin alloys 7x15 - good tyres - one or two marks on rims
Prospeed stainless steel exhaust - twin round
K and N apollo induction kit - awesome sound - with stainless steel pipes and samco hoses.
Timing belts and waterpump changed
Recent new clutch and gearbox rebuild - lower 5th gear - 40 miles per gallon
6mths TAX and MOT
Good condition - few minor dents
£4250
What do you think of the price?

Mate I am interested but it prob wouldnt be til after christmas that I will be thinking to buy. What is it 3 or 5 door? Pics? Plus Im from south wales, I cant believe it all the ones I been looking at are miles away now one on my doorstep

Actually after christmas would suit me fine. I didn't really plan to get another car until then. I,m from Aberdare. How far are you away???

The gearbox was rebuilt by Mike Morgan Rallysport at Aberdare in South Wales. He is an expert on gearboxes and diffs.

Im from near ystrad mynach so only about 20 mins away I think. Would it have been you I saw parked up in nelson before, and again in ystrad? Because I saw a black gti and I dont see many around this way.

I'll kill 2 birds with one stone -
In 5th gear it pulls 80mph at just under 3000revs and 100 at 3500. I haven't gone any faster. It doesn't pull quite so well in 5th as the previous gear did but if you want to overtake just put it down into 4th - with the induction kit and exhaust , it breathes really well and it just flies and wants to carry on. It does make a difference to the mpg, it regularly gives 340miles on a tank.
Yes it is a black car, my wife uses the car most of the week and she works in Nelson. I'm stuck with the Rav 4
