Stripped it to get more of a feel if i want to keep it...
I dont need my rear seats neways, and i liked the idea of a cage.
Tbh, a 2-3 year old could easily hold this cage off the ground. Its ALU.
Neways , yes or no people now its stripped ?

Fully stripped, yeah I'd go for it.
Perhaps some kind of false floor covering where the back seats go, and intergrating your ICE into it?

looks a bit out of place for me at the moment.
I reckon you'd need to fully strip the interior and stick some better seats in the front to carry it off.
looks like a tidy cage though

in my opnion cages should only really be used for cars for racing, or to make a car look more "stripped" and lightweight, a polo gti isn't really that type of car, its a heavy little thing bunged with extras instead...
but thats just my opinion

i think they look good on the right car...... now lucky for u, u have a 3 door so it dont look as bad. however once its secured in properly and the rear seats are removed....... not sure about the ice tho. if u do keep it bucket seats in the front will look better.
also youd have to get rid of the air freshners parcel shelf and rear seat belts and paneling on the sides by the lights/rear seat belt holders.
also i kinda agree with shantybeater, cages are for racing, its up to u at the end of the day but i wouldnt go for it in a polo unless u got a 2 litre twin turbo supercharged engine or something along those lines to make it worth while.
however if u strip the whole interior and get it back to basics and then redo it with some metal platting on the floor and small bits that dont make it look odd then it might just work......... might.
we should play a new game called "spot the air freshners" so far i found 3.
