vr6 brakes on my gti?

would i be right in thinking that vr6 brakes would fit on my gti by using g60 discs?

If its from an early vr6, with 280mm discs, then yes, it will work. If its from a later model with 288mm discs then no, it wont work. Unless you can find some 288mm 4x100 discs with the correct dish.

g60 and polo gti calipers are the same BTW. The carriers ARE NOT though.
