Just got my GTi!

Ive just collected my polo GTi and i love it, brought it from VW dealer in derby for 4k. However i put the seat back and it came clean off the runner, after further investigation i realised the little bolt thing is missing out of the end of the rail. Does anyone know where i can get one? Or should i just take it back to the dealer and ask for one?

congratulations on getting your gti mate, i would take it back to the dealer to get that part as they should have checked it i would have thought?

Welcome to the site and congratulations on a good choice
According to your conusmer rights the car sounds like it was sold unfit for purpose....Especially seeings as it came from a main dealer....I would request they fix it FOC...
What have you got then? Colour, number of doors and mileage?

Ive got a silver 3dr version with 84k miles on the clock, i'll try and get some pics up sometime soon. I think ill take it back today an ask for the little bolt thing, as its quite dangerous really although its funny when the seat fully reclines!

They should replace it,. Failing that it can't be much more than a quid. Congrats on your new GTI
