Hi guys and gals ,
Upgrading to some new aeroblades for my Polo GTi.
Have had a good look on

Just wondered if anyone could recommend a particular brand/make??
They are: Bosch / Valeo / Champion
Many thanks for your help!!

i've got the bosch ones, and can't really fault them, about 10X better than the standard ones, can't comment on the others though as i have no experience with them, hopefully someone else will have,
hope that helps,
Haris

VW now make them, and they are infact cheaper than wiperblades.co.uk
They are
identical to bosch (actually made by them to be precise

)
Available for all models from mk2 upwards
I had a bosch set, and now have a VW set and they are identical including part number stamps hehe and both are brilliant!!

Autoglym Car Glass Polish - wash it with a good quality car shampoo first, then use the glass polish gets everything off
Use autogly vinyl and rubber care on the blades themselves

If you are a tightwad and dont want to pay for the autoglym stuff..
get a tube of toothpaste and a cloth and scrub the windscreen with that really hard, then rinse off with water...
The tiny particles in the toothpaste grind off the grease whilst the flouride desolves the grime..
Then use a damp cloth and more toothpaste on the blades...
Make sure you rinse thouroughly....Leaves your windscreen sparklingly clean and minty fresh!
