Head Light ajusters - where r they?

hey guys, just had my MOT and it failed on my headlights bein to low :(

where r these ajusters on the lights? or do you have to go to VW?

it also failed on my left hand side ABS speed sensor bein Ferked lol gettin it fixed tomorrow

You need vag com to set GTI headlights- you can do it yourself if you have it, or get a dealer to do it for you :) Ask nicely ad it will cost nout ;)

cool! lol just i'm sure sumone was on here sayin tha there are ajusters on the actual lights them selves, not sure though. why cant you just have a dial in the car! they gave you the option of heated leather seats but no head light ajusters! lol

yeh they do have adjusters on the actual lights, but vag will reset them after a whille, you have to let the computer know what you are doing otherwise it doesnt like it!

oh nice one tim, where are those adjusters? it will do for a bit, just to pass the MOT for tomorrow, then i'll have more time to get it done.
god dam computers! lol i'll have to take a trip up there tomorrow then, i hope it dun cost something stupid now, i'll ask nicely lol

Everytime you restart the car, the headlights usually self level :| they are a bugger for doing that ... the manual adjustment only really helps for alignment of the beams

The best option, as mentioned above, is to have the lights' levels set with vag com. Yes you can mess about with the adjusters but its only a short-term measure and not guaranteed to work for long at all :)

I would have adjusted them for you as you are just along the road from me , but my mates got the laptop at the mo for his vw :(

I live in Livingston and have VAG COM I can adjust the Xenons if you still need them done.
