Anyone know what the going price is for a decent set of BBS RX2's? Not freshly refurbed but in fairly good condition.

So I think you'd be looking in the region of £200-250 for a set in ok condition with decent tyres.

Yeh, the standard 15's. Found a set for £350 but I thought it might be a bit high. I sold mine about 6 months ago for £220, they had a small amount of corrosion on the rims of 2 alloys but were in otherwise good condition.

I sold a set via eBay last month, fully refurbed but with 195/50 tyres for £360. Before that I've sold a refurbed set with 195/45 tyres for £400.

So for £350 they should really be recently refurbed.

I may be interested if the tyres are OK and the price is right. I'm local too!

Bryony...you pm'ed me on edition. I sold mine sadly a month back for £250...all wheels were practically mint and had tyres...some corrosion but not major really.

Did you check clubpolo though? theres two sets of 16" 4x100 RXII's on there...might be worth just buying a set of those instead to sell the GTI on.

I figured the 16's would be too expensive. My budget is £350 max. Cheers though.

I sold mine for around £250-300 (can't remember). Corroded but not too bad with 4 good tyres
