Rear aero wiper mod for 9n, dealer talking rubbish?

Just been into my dealer and asked for the aero blade, wiper arm and cap. He come out to my car 02 reg 1.2e 9n and told me it wouldnt fit. im pretty certain it will, will i need anything else as he told me the wiper motor is different i thought he was chatting rubbish. I want to change to the aero as the traditional type looks naff.

Hi Mitch,
Take a look at this from VW Speed - just got it for my Golf - will fit the Polo i'm sure but maybe best to email or call them to double check.

i was pretty certain he didnt know what he was on about, ill go back tommorow and buy it. thanks for the link to that area wiper but the one from the dealer comes in at a touch under £20 for the arm, blade and cap.
going to order a credit card holder tommorow to.

Yup I agree that you can upgrade the rear wipers on these cars, I got fed up with the cap catching when you lift the arm up to clean the window on my wife's 2002 52 Polo (2003 model year built late August 2002). I just found the aero wiper arm + blade + cap on ETOS and bought it - it fitted a treat. I could not understand why this car had the older one fitted as some older cars had the aero blade - might just be that VW were using two sources of parts at that period.

Just fitted it now, still had a problem with the dealer, they were doing a stock take and he was in a foul mood. got the bits in the end took about 30 seconds to do and looks bob on. although the arm part number is wrong
6Q6 955 425C - Blade is the right one C at the end instead of A
Anyone have any idea what the numbers for the card holder and a set of proper vw mats are and a price? i know theres a part dude on here.
also anyone got any other pics of interior mods? armrest, cubby hole mod?

it will fit i done it to mine last year but now iv de-wiperd it
