Hi guys,
has anyone remapped their polo tdis on here.
What sort of prices did you guys pay?
Who did you go to?
What gains did you get?
Any evidence to back up the gains said were actually acheived?

Thanks

£200

RichardBW on here

No idea, seems a lot nicer to drive and quite pokey. I guess 120-125bhp

>>Any evidence to back up the gains said were actually acheived?

Video is on youtube, 30-70mph about 2 seconds quicker than before.

Not directly related to the Polo but near enough:
My Ibiza PD130 was remapped by UPsolute www.ccctech.co.uk very quick, priced a bit under £300, Simon comes to you not the other way round.
My Fabia vRS PD130 was fitted with an AmD OneClick, cost about £300 as part of a group buy on Briskoda. Not as punchy as the Upsolute map but switchable which was good with the car being under warranty.

Evidence to back up claims: nothing apart from front tyres that didn't last very long :D

Hi Rubber

Just got my 1.9 100bhp re-mapped last week.
Jabba Sport carried the work out. It was a custom re-map. They checked and fixed all the fult codes, before it went on the roling road for the standard run. 101bhp was the result. Then thay re-mapped it, carried out another rolling road 153.7 hp @3641rpm/382 nm torque @2276rpm!!
All this for a £475.
They aren't too bust at the moment either, i only had to give 3 days notice and they fitted me in.

check out their website
www.jabbasport.co.uk

also check my post out on the remap...
just had my TDI re=mapped at Jabba Sport...Oh my god!!!! :D

fair play thats a good gain!!!

Ive got a polo 130pd tdi on a 55 plate not sure what phase model that is as i aint too clued up on vw!

we rolling roaded that recently and pulled 146 bhp and 260ilbs of torque!!!

was looking to get this re mapped soon but who is the best to do this??

and are there little mods like filter and exhaust that will help get a better figure from a re map!

it's a shame no one else does the AMD Oneclick technology. i like the idea of being able to remove the mapping back to normal, but the price for the Oneclick is quite expensive unless there is a group buy. may look into it next year.

Without going into too much detail and history as it's Sunday and I've got brainache, there are other identical options to the OneClick. It was not exclusive to AmD but was designed by their old owner's sister company. Awesome GTI had another version of it, and someone else who I've forgotten now. Same system but different names and possibly slightly different software.
Otherwise there's REVO and their Select or SPS. These switches used to cost a fortune but can be picked up pretty cheap now.

Ive been thinking about getting the upsolute map for a whilenow. The other one I was considering was the OBD tuning map offered by bigboystoys.

Both take my pd 100 polo to 135ish bhp and around 225lbs torque for approx £275. Has anyone experienced either of these maps before?

I got my 1.4 TDi remapped there last week, I paid £180 which included a before and after rolling road done. First out was 78bhp, 3 up on standard with my panel filter. Bhp went from 78 - 101 and my torque went from 153 lb/fts to 180 lb/fts. Car is now far smoother to drive and pulls on well through every gear. Needs FMIC though I think. Got it done locally but I am very impressed.

I got my Ibiza TDi 130 remapped at REVo in Preston. Cost £550 including my brake conversion change. Went from 130 (actually 146hp) to 173 and 293lb/ft. Highly recommended, but I wouldn't do it again. Would go with someone else like Jabba, they all have good and bad points. I'll know in future what to ask for, controlled torque instead of a burst
