Two lupo GTI passenger arms and blades. Although you can use two 9n passenger arms and blades instead.

Rear wiper is passat estate or bluemotion polo - these bits you cant scrapyard as they are a bit too new :P Costs about £20 all in for the rear wiper.

You could just retrofit the front, like alot of us do with just the blades. Part number is 6N0 998 002 and they cost £23.89 if i remember correctly.

Never knew 9n arms could be used... Anyone know if they work better than the Lupo GTI ones? The Lupo ones cause a few problems on the driver's side

@bbspolo, look in DIY guides, i've done a post on this mod

Not sure about the 9N arms, think they might be too long? Or the 9N blades are too long?

If you contact VAGParts, they do a complete aero wiper front kit for hte 6N, would be good to contact them and see if it will fit a 6N2 (6N and 6N2 have same glass area etc).

I picked up a pair of Lupo GTi passenger arms and blades, driver's side arm needs filing down slightly on the back to avoid fouling on the scuttle panel.

Rear aero wiper comes from a 9N or a new Passat estate. You will need to trim the blade length in order to avoid it hitting the 6N2 GTi's rear spoiler.

Cheers

there you go mate,

you wanna be looking at the flat blade upgrade kits, you don't need arms, the flat blades clip onto the originals

bosch ones recommended 8)

Passat estate needs no trimming - you just have to push the clip up further on the blade to make it shorter on the top half of the arm (therefore giving the windscreen coverage the same as the original blade)

9n pass arms work, as tomo has them on his lol

does anyone with the bosch retro wipers have any problems with the top half of the blade leaving streaks as if there is not enough pressure on the screen? or is it just me?

Leaves no streaks for me. Its a good idea to use glass polish on the windscreen and ensure the blades are kept clean - that may help the issue.

i know what you mean with the lack of pressure to holding down the end, but i've never had a problem with it streaking specifically either

With regard to the rear wiper, you need to trim almost half of the 9N blade for it to fit. The actual 9N rear wiper doesn't fit perfect on the 6N2 - my blade doesn't sit flush with the windscreen and bends, making quite a noise when wiping. Doesn't affect the wiping itself and it looks better so not fussed :D
