U guys av some fine cars man. i need some ideas on alloys. what tyre size will fit without me having to cut away the wheel arch. ideally i'd like to stick 15" or 16" wheels on, but im not sure what will fit. is there any other sites except radesign.co.uk that deals with flush bumpers etc ?
any help would b appreciated peeps.

Check out my post
here
You'll find that you will need to stick to the following specs:
14" x 6" or 15" x 6.5" (Diameter x Width)
100mm x 4 Stud PCD (Pitch Circle Diamater)
ET 36-38mm offset

hey welcome to the forum, i got 195/45/15's tyres on 15x6.5 alloys! they look really good and as far as i no, i am the only one who has had problems with alloys! i am running them with 3mm spacers n they rub on the right hand rear suspension when giving it some around 3 hand corners! no one else has had problems!
o and if i were u, i would look into getting it lowered as well, i am waiting for some nice weather to put my springs on
hope this was of some help! welcome to the 1.0ltr club!

If you are lucky, and with standard suspension. Lower it and it will start to rub, you can almost guaruntee.

Jep, Even with 6x14 ET38 with 40mm lowering will start to rub, I had some rubbing with 185/55 rims if you want 14 inch wheels go for 195/45 and mod your arches

You can get 194/45 14 tyres. But 185/50 14 are possibly more suitable, thats what I'm fitting to mine next. Strange enough as it sounds, but 194/45 are cheaper than 185/50.

the 45's are more expensive because they are a lower profile! don't ask me y, i guess its to do in the manufacturing of em! i hope i don't get any problems when i lower mine!

I was led to believe that tire prices are a result of production numbers. 195-45-14 is quite popular here, so they're not that expensive.
Consider the difference between 195-50-15 and the 45 series version, in which the latter is way, way more expensive than the higer 50-series version.
