The D40 is a very good camera, even more so if you get a good quality tamron or similar lens to go with it
Best way to learn is to play. Im still getting to grips with my D80 - i finally understand what aperture and shutter mean now!

lookin good man, do a proepr shoot somewhere in a good location! Wish id got a good camera now, my samsung nv3 isnt really up to the job

nice pics, cars lookin awseme..
you've captured focus perfectly with the hamster, the small DOF makes it look spot on

I had the shots on continuous to try and get a decent shot of that hamster, b*stard thing kept running around lol.

Will try and get some more pics up soon, when it's next cleaned! Not real much point at the mo...just gets dirty as soon as it's back out on the road! Grr
