who'd you hear that off ? Need to get some facts straight matey. Bought it a bit longer than two weeks ago and didn't pay £1400 for it, plus i bought it with a blown gearbox, just done cambelt, clutch, service, new screen, new clutch, repaired the central locking and given her a good clean and polish.
I think it's now a car worth what i'm asking, if you think it's worth less please let me know what you think it's worth, there is another thread in the gti section asking people ??
anyone other interest, i think it's a bloody cheap car!

if only i had some dollar, i would defo have it. The fact its all up to scratch helps alot with a car with mileage so high - theres defo life in her yet!

ye for sure, i think there is more life left in this one than some of the ones with around 80k on the clock, drives a minter, been used for commuting.

LOL at this thread... who cares how much he bought it for... thats like going to vw and saying I'll give you £3k for that new golf there after all thats how much it cost you
If I was after a polo gti I'd take this of your hands, but forums aren't the best place to sell.. autotrader it...!!

i don't see what the problem is, and why theres any need to post that up!? Cars don't fix themselves, and its upto tom what he wants to sell it for!

Good luck Tom in selling ya car, crackin little cars these! Think it's a fair price, considering you've shelled out to fix it up and man-hours cleaning/tlc 'ing it lol
