Brisk spark plugs

Hi,
I know most of these do nothing like they're meant to, so I'm not too optimistic but does anyone have any experience of Brisk spark plugs (which claim to increase BHP)? Are they worth using versus say NGK/Bosch spark plugs?
Given I've got the 3 Cylinder version of the car, I would like every bit of power I can without doing what insurance would consider a "mod", so if these spark plugs are half decent (given they're a similar price to the NGKs) I may grab a set as I want to replace mine anyway.
Or, does anyone have any other recommendations/insights on plugs?

I just replaced mine yesterday, Bosch OEM spec ones from Euro Car Parts, cost me £3.09 each. I've noticed the car's a bit smoother now.

My only concern here would be that they are US spec. plugs and designed to be used in racing engines (usually). I would be very reluctant in chucking something like that (which could draw more power and get very hot) into an engine such as yours.
You could do untold damage to your engine/ECU and then where'd you be! Fr any decent power gains, I'd look to changing my filters and oil regularly with good quality (OE or equivalent) UK plugs.
I really don't think you'll be able to see much discernible difference with these 'increase power' MODs on an engine like yours. It's good as it is, and IIRC VWs like NGK plugs anyways. Stick with something OE and if you really want, change the plugs every two years too.

The curious thing about this thread is that Brisk plugs are fitted standard to the Skoda 1.4 8v engine that is used in some Fabias, the alternative is a Champion plug! I'd stick with NGKs Japanese quality (hopefully).

I've changed my VW ones (which were NGK) to the aftermarket Bosch Super 4 ones.
Definetely noticed an improvement over the VW NGK ones. Engine definetely runs noticably smoother and a slight improvement in acceleration was noticable after they were changed!

I'd hope that your NGKs were over due a change - otherwise I'll have to change my ideas about NGKs!! I've used Super 4s before but only to replace Bosch twin electron plugs (I think), car felt better after that, but I always considered (before ever using them) that NGKs were KING.

Initially thats what I thought from the car being a little jerky, but when I removed the old 3 electron VW / NGK ones from my car I noticed that they were still healthy and good to go (car covered about 28k miles on them). So the change was actually early (as they normally say to change them every 40k), so perhaps even unneccessary to be fair, but the car felt quite a bit better and definetely made it smoother for me - so no doubt it was worth it!
