I've just got my infinity 300w 6x9's fitted into my stealth shelf. They are bloody good. Im running them off a 4x45w sony cd headunit. What sounds you got in your dub?

In my Polo I have some small JBL's up front, and some Rockford Fosgate 6x9's in my stealth shelf, powered by a 4x60 Alpine CD deck.
In my Golf I have Rockford Fosgate Components up front run by a 100 watt Rockford Fosgate amp, 2 Rockford Fosgate 12in Subs in the back powered by a 200 watt Rockford Fosgate monoblock amp. All cabling is Pheonix Gold, and there are some gold plated power and earth distribution blocks. This lot used to be headed by my Alpine, but then I stole it for my Polo.
As I don't have back seats in my Golf, I had to make my system steatlh... This is done with removable covers. Once on, it just looks like a boarded out golf, when taken off all the amps/subs/power blocks/cross overs are all neatly cut into the floor!

is that for the mk3??
they are pants. the damn carpet is stapled to the floor, and half the trim inside is just glued to the shell....
I'm planning an install for my GT. Just waiting til I get my new seats and cage before I build anything.
The spec list will hopefully go something like this.
TV head unit, PS2, Auidioscape door builds with the dirtiest biggest speakers that will fit, and 2 12's in the boot!!
I like simple. highs from the front, bass from the back.
First I gotta build me a stereo in my van! So far I have a set of JVC 6x9's, a Rockford Fosgate 12in, and a JVC CD deck. Just want a really cheap 4 channel amp. Gonna build a box that houses the sub, 6x9's and the amp, with the headunit in the box too (poking between the seats), so that when the lease is up on my van and I get a new one all I will have to do is undo the earth and remove the power from the battery.

I'm not really into sound systems etc, but I've got a panasonic head unit (that came with the car), and up front I've got some 3.5 inch diameter JLB 2way speakers and in the back I've got some 2 way JBL 6x4's as I want the car to look standard inside

I bought some of those JBL 6x4's and the were absolute rubbishness.
They couldnt take any type of volume, and the slightest hint of bass and they would fart and flap.
waste of money.

I have a 5.6" screen mounted in the passenger headrest. PS2 in the boot. I have the standard components up fron being run by a Pioneer Mp3 player. On my custom made shelf i have 4 pioneer 6x9's that run from a boss 800W 4 channel amp. I also have a Pioneer 10" sub that run from a 300W 1 channel Jenson amp. The sub is in a 1 of clear Perspex box that i made myself. I am just waiting on my 1.5 power cap getting delivered next week.
Just an advice....

I'm not a fan of listing ICE on the net, you never know who's reading it.
I know of one incident on CGTI where a guy told the forum what ICE was in the car...it was then broken into and everything was taken, even the speakers that were part of a stealth install!
It's not worth the risk!

i
had the following (all from AudioBahn unless stated otherwise)
2 x AW1205 subs
1 x 1800D amp
1 x AW525 front components
1 x AS96Q 6x9s (mounted facing out of boot)
