Ideally I'd like to put some speakers in my car doors but am at a bit of a loss as to how I can fit them. I have a 'bog standard' polo squareback (not the POLO C) hence it has no electrics in the doors and the door cards don't appear to be very speaker friendly! What I was wondering was.....

I saw a set of speaker pods on ebay off a MK2 Golf....

I know the auction has finished now but can anyone tell me if these would've replaced the door pockets on my MK2 Polo squareback or would they not fit?

wont be a direct fit ...best make up some speaker pods/rings really

remember you need to drill the door and pillar to let the wire through
