Its going back on in a weeks time. I go away for a bit, so im gonna garage it up and put the spoiler back on then so it can bond in the dry for once

Just to help charlie anyway, GTI spoiler has to be bolted onto the tailgate - it isnt just bonded, plus it has a third brakelight which would require the hole for the existing to be welded and smoothed over to do a proper job. On mine i have the retrofit VW genuine sport spoiler, and it looks really good
