Such a shame, looked like it was a minter as well.

it was a minter. Just had the gearbox rebuilt about 2 days before it happend aswel. i told the insurance and they sed theres nothin they can do about giving me money back because it was the running gear of the car so it needed to be in working order to be valid, therefor no can do i was gutted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you planning on buying the car back by any chance? I am interested in a few bits.

i spy with my little eye something begining with L.........leather!!!! surely that must be up for grabs lol

if u can buy it back for pennies u should.... get it on the drive sell loads of bits like the engine of its ok and the interior, rear lights, driver door if its ok, wheels suspension, etc. then some places will actually take the rest of the car of u and give u money for it.

wat happened then? it must of been some accident? looks like somehow the side got smashed in but the front wheels arnt affected?

it was about 8 oclock on sat the 19th i thnk it was, and i was planning to see my mate who live not far from me. as i got close he txt me sayin not to bother comin round cos he was havin grub with his girl friends parents, i should have left him txt me back but i got inpacient lol

anyway, he lives near like winedy country lanes and bends, i was bored and thought id take the long way home, it was rele misty and raining at this point.

i came to a bend which i thought was ok, but i went ova some water on the road and i was losein the back end, so i tryed to counter it, went into a spin and somehow, my side spun back the other way and my passanger side hit this wall that was on the other side of the road.

I'm lucky to be alive!!! i was on my own by the way, thank god, but if there was someone wiv me, i wouldn;t have been there, i was only there cos i was board.

i aint asked about buyin her back yet, all the wheels are ok, just dirty, my side was ok, the lights and stuff like tha are fine, the leathers and ok, bar the passenger side runner was bent, the seat was ok though. the engine was still running wen i crashed so thats prob ok, and well the gearbox was bran new!!! GUTTED!!!

sorry 2 see that mate. hope ur ok. i had something similar to that i my mk 1 punto, the car jus folded up as im sure u could imagine. another driver hit me tho then drove off. the damage is identical actually. what confused me tho was that i was hit from the side but i shot straight up from my seat and hit the roof.
