I personally havnt done a convertion because they aint exactly cheap,BUT my mate has just converted his 1.4 golf to a 1.8t now if you got the money and mates who know what they're doing they reckon 2-3 weeks tops, but its alot of time and you have to uprate everything!madpup wrote:how much yours cost and wats involved wit the converstion
its not small engine out big engine in, you need bigger breaks,new loom,gearbox, suspension,ecu... the list is long!

didnt cost much at all
but i got bored and went for a VR6 conversion im doing my self at home at the moment
