Polo Alternator Type

Hello i have a K reg 1.0 fox coupe, ne idea what alternators will fit. also im having problems with water getting into the car, any tips on sealing the car.
most mk3 alternators will fit, so thats an easy one.
the water ingress is normally due to one of 3 things
1. leaking through sunroof due to blocked drain holes
2. battery tray rot, which floods driver side footwell, tricky job to fix
3. water can get in through the doors if the plastic membrafe behind the card is missing
