Just bought a new Polo with the Blue and Red lighting. I have about £260 max to spend. Here's what I been looking at can someone please advise me.

1 - Alpine CDA-9812RR
2 - Blaupunkt Los Angeles MP72
3 - Blaupunkt Acapulco MP52
4 - Pioneer DEH-P77MP (Looks nice but I don't know if it will look out of place)

Should I conconsider any other units?

Thanks

Chris

Shop around and see how cheap you can get a blaupunkt woodstock 52, it has dab radio and mp3 and you can play them from a SD/MMC memory card. If you budget can reach a bit further, go for the 53 version which has a nicer display and the function of recording the dab signal to the memory card so you can remember stuff you like so you can buy it later  .

The only problem is that you need a dab aerial which is supplied, www.bluespot.co.uk sell a replacement aerial for the beesting that allows both std and dab signals, or you can use the seperate one that comes with it.

That's a better choice than your other post!

I can vouch for the Alpine - very impressive and a nice range of audio setup features (especially sub features) without the fancy wizardry.

I found a 9807-RB for 170 quid delivered online, so shop around...

i've just had the Alpine CDA9812RR fitted to my 9n and i would recomend it to anyone, the sound quality is amazing and it has the added advantage of 60Wx4 which is good if you dont want to amp up your speakers, and if you do it has 3 4v pre outs!! you dont need an adapter (which costs £12) to connect it to an amp unlike with the Blaupunkt units. it also has a really simple sub volume control.

One thing tho if your into colour coding your interior, when the unit is off the buttons are green, looks sweet when all lit up red tho!
