Hi,

I want to replace my standard bulbs on my car, both side and main beam. I hear they are quite easy to do however my question is what do generally people do have white main beams and then blue sides or blue on both?

Thanks

I'd be worried if someone had blue main beams!! (other than HIDs that emit a blue tint of course)

For dipped and full beams look at something like Osram Nightbreakers or Phillips Xtreme Vision (I think that's what they're called), H7 and H1

For sidelights look at the 501 fitting white bulbs found on HIDs4u,

Hi Veedub2008

You might have seen my earlier post, but I`ve just gone for some Philips Xtreme Power bulbs from `Powerbulbs.com`. They come with a free set of Philips blue vision side lights. :)

They arrived today, so I`ll be fitting them at the weekend and will let you know what they look like. 8)

New member here,

Sure this has been asked 100 times already but just wondering how do you fit the new bulbs exactly?

Any help very welcome or a step by step guide would probably be more helpful...having read the forum for a few days now you guysobviously know well more than me!

Cheers

Back off the headlight with the clip. Then proceed to remove the wiring plug from the back of the headlight bulb. Then remove the spring latch that holds the bulb in place. Remove the bulb, fit the new bulb (making sure you do not touch the glass), and do the process in reverse :)

Sidelights are a little different - you need to grab each side of the fitting and give it a gentle, yet powerful pull.
