Owned the car since July 2006.

Bad points

This car has been a pleasure to own, run and drive.
Its so quiet and comfortable as well as being very, very economical.

I work for Wharton Motorsport in Blackpool as a number one Technician so i am alrite with cars and this Polo has been maintained to the best i could.

would love to see some pictures of the interior, is it standard VW fitment?

The interior is totally standard VW.

What particularly interests you about the interior?

Never knew they did an alacantra interior - I've been looking out for a new interior and want to swap one from the same range of cars (Polo / Ibiza / Fabia) so I can safely keep the airbags.

Would be interested to see how much more support they offer over the standard sports seats!

not interested in buying the car, so maybe I should take this to PM. you get a free bump though ;)

I'm sure it'll sell nice and quick.

Actually, i must apologise, they aren't alacantara.

I've no idea why i said that, i must of been looking at other cars' specs online and written it down

My mistake, the seats are simply a cloth type.

i do hope i can sell the car fairly quickly.

David,

I'm in the same boat! I've been searching for the last 4 months for a sport-trim interior.

Ebay just isn't living up to it. :(

Your posting on the 9N forum and the Chassis forum on the problem you were having with the top mount and/or bearing falling apart.

Ah yes, well i have no idea to be honest as it simply went as i was pulling away from my house.

I have new parts to fit to it which shall be done when i have the time so it shall be back to how it should be!

Don't worry I wasn't trying to be nasty and stuff your chances of selling this car, its just that I reckon that one of the front springs have snapped - a very common occurance nowadays it seems - which does not indicate rough handling, more like roughly made springs! The moment the upwards force is released form the top mount's bearing, it just comes apart and drops its balls out (ooh er!)
