Doh, the Kent Police have caught me!

As expected to be honest! I was on my way to Dover last week I found myself on a completely empty dual carriageway (a2 womensworld, dover to be precise), downhill with a perfectly placed police speed van at the bottom.
So, I'm busted for doing 82mph
Gutted!

The police vans always position themselves in that sort of places, we have a road just before m25, where they often sit. It's just a matter of restraining yourself and taking it out somewhere else, like go-kart or track days.

Yeah it's a bummer, I was just rushing a little bit to make it to the ferry port on time to be honest! (and then to get there and be delayed 3 hours!
) My fault 100% though, no denying that I was going over the speed limit. Was just annoying that it was on quite a downhill slope with no-one around! But...that's life!
Yeah a letter today stated 3 points and a £60 fine. My first incident really in my driving career so far, 3 and a halfish years.

It's crap Chris, but look at it this way - you could have been doing over 100 and got a ban!

ahh man unlucky, but like tom said it could have been alot worse!...at 82mph i assume you had plenty of time to brake before they clocked you?

I was knackered at the time also, well annoying to think "If only I braked a little harder..."
