hi Guys,

I have some decent blaupunkt speakers, rears and front, looking to install into my new polo, you guys know of any tutorials for how to access the panels to remove and install these?

if its anything like the 9n youl probably need adapters to fit the speakers.what size are the blaupunkt ones??
as for getting the doors off i found this a problem aswel at first.
iv only ever done it on the front doors,basically its only a few screws to take out and parts of the door should clip off then

Iv replaced the fronts on mine (a 3 door) and it is quite easy to do, but time consuming. Most probably you will need adaptors to space the front speakers away the window glass, but they are available from most stores.

I think Haynes have released a guide for the 9N which should be the same process. Just for a guide though, you need to open the caps to all the plasics. i.e the door handles and window swtich gear panel. Under the door handles are some bolts which need to be taken out. There are two screws on the cards themselfs that need to come out too. The card should then hinge at the bottom allowing removal. If you feel resistance dont force it, look for where it is snagging and do what you need to do to remove. Thats what I did and probably wrong so try this suggestion at your own risk.

Would be really nice if someone could post pics of the detatched card rear as well as the exposed door.
