Welcome to the April Photography Comp!!

Another great turnout for last month - nearly 1000 page views!!

The subject is Animals

Get snapping!

Please resize your photos to 800 pixels wide MAX to enable everyone to view them without too much scrolling. Thanks

Please also list what camera, lens, ISO, shutter speed and aperture you used when taking the photo. Thanks!


RULES:
One Entry Per Member
All images must be your own work
All entries must be recieved by Midnight, Wednesday 30th April 2008
After this time, I will start a poll listing all the photos).

Ah nice one Alex. I saw the thread over the weekend and was thinking how the hell am I going to get some decent pics of people :D - Everyone I know is ugly, except for myself* :lol: :lol: :wink:.

Animals is pretty good though, I actually got some good ones of animals last weekend, so good timing :P

*Disclaimer - I'm only joking, just encase the Mrs reads this!!! :oops:

no duplicate entries from the previous comp im afraid :p you could take another shot of a robin lol

I never used that pic of my robin in any comp, just popped it up for people to see in the photography section! So I should be good to enter it for the first time? :D

Sorry that is my cats name...but she takes a bad photo, sure I can hunt some animals down here though :D (not literally, that would be mean). I too was having trouble thinking of a suitable, and willing subject, for 'people' especially seeing ive only just started taking pics....I'd be like 'hey, can you look longingly in that direction for me?I wana take a pic of you for my polo forum photography competition.

Can just imagine the look i would get.... :?

ok, i had a few good pics to choose from this month but here is my entry after a little thought :D

Its a moth, no idea what species though! Picture has been cropped very slightly.

Sony Alpha 100 DSLR (with macro adaptor screwed to the end)
Standard 18-70mm Sony Lense (Focal length 70mm)
F/6.3
Shutter 1/125sec
ISO-100

thats wierd, looks more like a feather.
good picture though, i'm having trouble with mine as i have no car now
