Re: My cupra (new IHI monster pg3 & dyno vid pg10)
they do look good in gloss black, very oem! I went for a matt black but will put clear laquer on top so i'm guessing it will have a gloss look
last night I decided to remove the bump strips....what a night mare, the rear one refused to come off and I ended up snapping it, then broke both the no. plate lights in the process, not happy at all! I'm going up to nick some more bits off the crashed cupra today, is there anything you want me to get for you stani?

Re: My cupra (new IHI monster pg3 & dyno vid pg10)
the only thing i need at the moment is the green cap of the power steering thing in the engine bay and an oil cap so if you could get those for a couple of quid each that'd be great, but im not overly fussed at paying much for them at the moment as im pretty skint , going off to NZ in the summer and its clearing me out!
heres a pic of the cap next to the battery
just drop us a pm james cheers!

Re: My cupra (new IHI monster pg3 & dyno vid pg10)
Not much more to update really, been on holiday...still awaiting some parts & ended up paying £150 for some new front green stuff pads
masked off the hellas & begun spraying:
ripped off both front & rear bump strips, got a new rear one as its never coming off again until smoothing(if i do that) plus i made a mess of the old one. Been driving around looking pikey without them but it has to be done & i'm in no rush. Started priming them up...also finished painting & laquering my interior trim bits..so just letting them dry
finished spraying the hellas ready for laquering, they look awesome better in the flesh so i'm putting it off till the weekend for best conditions to do it...then i just need to remove the fog & indicator lenses
Also managed to get a speaker cover for my door from the crashed cupra, i phoned SEAT and apparently its part of the door card so i would have had to pay £120 for it!!!, got a spare clutch master cylinder as well

Re: My cupra (new IHI monster pg3 & dyno vid pg10)
ok got up at 8am and just finished cleaning/polishing & fitting the rear lights/door handles & bump strips
heres the end result:
before/after (the rear lights still need the orange & red lenses removed)
The color match isnt fantastic on the bumpstrips but it is only a matter of time till i get them smoothed along with a full respray...
