Hi guys,

For sale is my 1997 R reg Polo 16V!
Ive had this car just over a year, with only 2 owners from new!
All the work has been done by myself, and no expense has been spared! Car was completely standard when i got it!
Its covered just over 90'000 miles!
Its had a full service including brakes 2 months ago!

The car:
MOT-march 2009
Tax-August 2008
Full and well documented history, with receipts etc!
1.4 16V-Very good on fuel! And very quick/nippy!

The makeover-outside:
Full paint job in original colour- Pearl metailic silver!
Arches all undercoated in black
Genuine ditrech smooth front bumper with Polo GTi Splitter
JOM de-badged grill
Halo/angel eye headlights
Smooth bonnet and relocated washer jets
Smooth wings
Genuine DSP Sideskirts
Brand new Deep dish polished alloys with toyo proxes
Black roof
Roof ariel removed and smoothed
Audi A6 door handle conversion
Smooth fuel cap
All red rear lights

MK5 polo dash conversion
MK5 polo GTi interior (front seats, rear seats and doorcards)
sparco leather/suede steering wheel

Genuine GTi Mats with red piping
Gti gear knob/leather gaitor

Engine:
1.4 16V- Standard and never been abused
Polished 16v Rocker cover
Painted engine bay plastics

Now...bits which need doing to finish this car off:
The audi handles need connecting to the mechenism inside the door (or just fit door poppers wired to your alarm)
The wiring on the clocks needs to be completed as there is no revs or speed (plan was to fit dakota digital clocks)
Car needs lowering as its on standard 16V suspension at the moment

and thats it!

Not really problems, but i just dont have the time anymore to finish it off.

As you can see, alot of work and effort has gone into this car, and it still has great potential!

The car itself is amazing! Very strong! No mechanical problems whatsoever!

price.....im asking £2200! or swap/PX for an A3,A6, MK4 golf.

thanks

thats absolutely mint. the only thing putting me off is the milage on the car. the interior looks great in it. let me speak to my father and see if he can lend me some money lol. if it was lowerd it would look absolute mint. looks new and fresh with the paint job, and the interior. my dad is back in 8 days if its not gone by then :)

btw any images on the enginee bay?

in ur list it says u got all red rears but the pics say a different thing. is it cause u don have pics of the lights on the car or u just done it wrong? the all red ones are from the mk5.

just one quick question... cant you wire the speedo and that up lol. cus id have no idea how to do that if i did buy it. also, even if i dont buy it, its still a positive selling point to anyone else.

the speedo issue is a wiring job for a person who specialises in dash conversions.

theres a guy on e38 forums called g60renshaw. this guys is the nuts at dash conversions and would be able to do it.

as i said, i was going to use digital clocks, which can be wired up in a couple hours, but i really havent got the heart to spend anymore money or time due to other commitments.

its a small issue which can be resolved in no time!

the only other thing i could do is put the dash back to the standard 16V one, but thats just pointless.....
